Product Description The fact that this is the world's best helmet value is kind of besides the point. With features like 18 massive vents, Fusion In-Mold Microshell, Blade Visor, GPS fit system, Channeled Ventilation and Cam-lock Levers, the Influx is a great helmet at any price. Specs: Weight 10.5oz/309 grams. Vents: 18. Sizes: Small: 51-55cm/20-21.75in, Medium: 55-59cm/21.75-23.25in, Large: 59-63cm/23.25-24.75in. Certification: CPSC.
Product Description The Bell Influx Mountain Bike Helmet is constructed with a fusion in-mold microshell, which utilizes the process of bonding the helmet's microshell to its EPS foam layer, rather than forming the two separately and taping them together later, to provide a sturdier, more solid helmet. The Influx features a Blade visor with horizontal I-beam pins to keep the visor in place with minimal intrusion, and Bell's GPS (Geared Positioning System) fitting method to deliver an easy one-hand adjustment for fit and comfort. The Bell Influx also features internal reinforcement through a composite skeleton that fortifies the helmet in the same way rebar makes concrete stronger, and cam-lock levers that make it easy to adjust the straps around your ears. For your comfort, this bicycle helmet includes 18 channeled vents that are specially designed to force cool, fresh air in through the front and around your head, while flushing warm air out of the rear ports. Bell's Influx helmet comes in three sizes, weighs 309 grams, and complies with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's safety standards for bicycle helmets. Helmet Tips--You Should Always... - Wear a helmet when you ride
- Wear your helmet low in the front to protect the forehead
- Fasten your buckle and tighten your chin strap
- Check your adjustments every time you wear your helmet
- Inspect your helmet regularly for signs of wear or damage
- Wear a helmet designed for your activity

Bell Influx Bike Helmet December 26, 2008 This is my 2nd helmet. I much perfer this helmet to my other it is lighter in weight and has better airflow which helps with sweating. This one also fits better due to the internal adjustments that you can make.
Great Value September 28, 2008 There's no need to spend over 100 to get styling and the protection you need. This helmet has a very wide range of adjustments to ensure a proper fit; and a proper fit is essential to receive the highest level of protection this helmet provides. Bell makes some of the best bike helmets so you can't go wrong with this one. Don't skimp on your safety.
Nice Helmet August 4, 2008 I've used it a few times on 7-10 mile bike rides to the beach and back and found it very comfortable and cool. Amazon had the best price I could find, so I'm very pleased with my purchase. My only complaint is the helmet was really dirty when I received it. Looked like it had been sitting on a shelf collecting dust. You think somebody could of blown or wiped it off before shipping...
Great Helmet!!! July 22, 2008 Great design, I would recommend it to anyone. Plenty of vent holes, slightly heavier than a road bike helmet but not too bad. Lots of protective area for the back of your head as well.
The Usual Bell Outstanding Quality and Fit June 28, 2008 All bicycle helmet materials eventually become brittle with age, so it was time for me to replace my old helmet with a new one. I've always been impressed with the price/performance ratio of Bell cycling helmets, but this time, I researched other brands just in case something better may have come along. I concluded, as I have time and again, that the best all-round alternative is still a Bell helmet. When it arrived, and I tried it on to fine-tune the fit, I was impressed with the adjustment mechanism, which seems to have gotten more comfortable. I recommend Bell as the most trustworthy, reliable, and most importantly, safest cycling helmet in its price range, or any price range, for that matter.
