 Powerful little blacklight. July 20, 2008
My purpose in purchasing this blacklight was to track down the very poisonous light-brown "bark" scorpions. Under a black light scorpions "glow." They are not a native species here but hitchhikers on imported palm plants infesting the Las Vegas valley.
This compact light accomplishes that purpose very well and I keep finding other uses all the time. The compact size and rugged construction make it useful outdoors and in tight spaces.

We LOVE the LED UV lights and have found them invaluable! They are 1/2 the price through amazon, then you can buy at the local ace hardware, and in my opinion MUCH better quality. I have purchased 4 or 5 different models over the last few years, all were at least $20 but these that I ordered through amazon at 9.99 each are FAR better! If you are trying to get rid of scorpions, you MUST have one of these lights. They make scorpions illuminate like radiactive glow in the dark waste once you bounce the UV light off them. Also, it makes it SUPER EASY to track and find them at night, even at dusk thats how strong these little lights are. I purchased on for my dad's house, and one for mine. I have told everyone with a scorpion problem, including my pest control guy where I got my light, and they all got one and now know how great they work. HIGHLY recommeded!! THANKS!!! Ryan W.
